Digital Signal Processing is a one term course (fall term) intended for undergraduate students on the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb.
Syllabus
Discrete-time systems. Signal flow graph. Quantization effects. Sensitivity
to quantization of filter coefficients. Quantization noise. Limit cycle in IIR
systems. IIR and FIR filter design. Properties of the Discrete Fourier Transform.
Fast algorithms for convolution and correlation. Periodogram. Time windows.
Optimal algorithms for signal extraction. Filter banks. Hardware. Basics of
adaptive signal processing. Basics of multidimensional signal processing.
Applications in speech processing, sonar, radar, communications and
automatics.
